The vineyard takes its name from an old roadside cross once a local meeting point that still anchors the identity of the area. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and an unusually long ageing of around 30 months in used barriques, a Denogent signature that yields a pure, precise Chardonnay made without intervention and without haste.
