The rifle here has built-in Hatsans SAS (Shock Absorber System) which reduces recoil and their TRIOPAD butt cap which is made of hard rubber which in turn reduces recoil on the rifle and it has some small "plates" that can be inserted at the butt cap to get it adjusted to suit you
