Nasce dall'incontro di due vitigni del territorio: il Trebbiano Rosa, variet rara a bacca grigio rosata, che regala colore, delicatezza aromatica e una trama particolare e la Malvasia di Candia, l'"uva di Cerreto" che la firma della cantina. Le vigne crescono su parcelle argillose esposte a sud ovest, tra i 350 e i 380 metri
