There are rare instances of a single clasp and as with the Queen's medal

India General Service Medal Miniature 1908-1935 Category_Engraving 1967 (inclusive)Instituted 1st January 1909 and awarded for service in minor campaigns in India before and after WWI. The North West Frontier 1908 clasp was the first issued and the only one initially with the Edward VII bust. 9 Distinguished Conduct Medals (DCM) were awarded bravery during the expeditions covered by this clasp. This medal is supplied without clasp which can be purchased separately.
