There are several varieties, all highly sought after by collectors, yet easy to grow and very hardy. This selection forms an upright mound of lush green leaves that stand up well into the autumn. The very large flowers are single to semi double. Petals are soft raspberry, darker toward the base and surround a centre of yellow stamens. Peonies seldom need to be divided
