This is at once notably ripe but attractively fresh with its combination of densely fruited red currant, raspberry and warm earth aromas. The rich, muscular and highly vibrant middle weight plus flavors exude a subtle minerality while delivering superb depth and persistence on the sappy, firm and ever so mildly austere finale. Interestingly given the style of the vintage this isnt quite a big and robust as it usually is
