Medium to deep garnet-brick in color
This is much riper than the 2010 with its softly exotic (but not tropical) nose of pear
concentrated yet impressively refined wine with plenty of inner mouth perfume as well as an abundance of palate coating old vine sap that serves to cushion the still quite firm tannic spine on the strikingly persistent finish
refined and beautifully detailed middle weight flavors are not especially dense though there is enough sap to buffer the moderately firm supporting tannins on the balanced finish
